This past July (I know, it looks like it's November in this shoot), I teamed up with Yenny Paez Photography to create a unique styled photoshoot in the depths of Rolley Lake's surrounding forest. This was a stressful shoot to be honest, we were both shooting underneath a very loud and angry thunderstorm. Yenny and I were literally dodging back and forth trying to shoot between the spurts of rain and thunder to capture all of the incredible details from the amazing vendors that collaborated on this shoot.
Despite the chaos, we managed to make our vision come to life beautifully. The models handled the rain and mosquitoes incredibly well, poor Alicia was swelling up like no tomorrow from all of her bites. Kyla, the makeup artist, did a great job being my second pair of eyes while setting up our cake table as well as the obvious talent shown on the model for hair and makeup. The decor fit perfectly for an intimate, romantic forest elopement from Whitetail Collections, (that chair though!) and the cake added a gorgeous white contrast to the forest green. The bouquet that Floretta created for this shoot took my breath away. The Cafe Au Lait dahlias that were used were literally the size of my hand, just stunning.
Thank you to everyone involved in this inspiration shoot. It would not have been possible without you all and I had a wonderful time creating stunningly dark and whimsical images with you!
