John and Julia wanted to take advantage of the snow and beautiful views at the Sea to Sky gondola in Whistler for their engagement session. We lucked out and didn't get rained on but the cloudy sky and chilly winds definitely made the day more romantic, moody and cozy. By the end of the session, we all could not wait for the heat of the car!
I seriously love my clients. From the moment John and Julia's engagement session started, I knew we were going to get along amazingly. Julia was so much freaking fun during this session and I still cannot get over how much of a trooper she was in her heeled boots and dress on top of a MOUNTAIN. She is such a champ. I love when I have clients that come up with amazing locations and are up for whatever crazy ideas I come up with! And John, he was just the sweetest. Literally being Julia's rock throughout the entire engagement session (the heels she was wearing did not help with walking, at all, on the icy snow).
I definitely conquered my own little fear with this session. Heights are totally not my thing, I can look out at the pretty view but if you tell me to look straight down, I might fall over. And let me tell you, the ride on the gondola and the long bridge that we adventured over, tested my knees but made for some totally worth it, amazing shots. John and Julia were so much fun and I cannot wait for their July wedding in the woods!
