First of all, I love this little family. Seriously, from the very beginning of when Jenna and I started working together (she is the talent behind Chaos and Creative Blog), I knew we would be close. That's exactly what happened, we have become weirdly close in just the last year (it feels like I've known this chick my whole life), and I love her and her family. Then there's her daughter, Harlow. I have worked with her too many times to count now and every time is a new adventure. This kid is a wild child (I really never know what I am going to get with her but it's always a blast). She has a stunning personality and infectious laughter and no matter how difficult she might feel like being that day in front of the camera, I can't help but look forward to the next time, Harlow's my absolute favourite. Then Amanda, the one that holds this little group together like glue. I have gotten closer with her by constantly working with Jenna and Harlow and I am so glad I have, she's a sweetheart.
We adventured up past Hope for this session! With this unpredictable but beautiful snowy weather we had been having, we didn't have to travel far. As we climbed higher and higher in to the mountains, the trees began to sparkle and the huge snow capped mountains were calling. I was so excited because this was going to be my first session in the snow. Not going to lie though, it was freezing. Like literally shoot for 20 minutes until everyone felt like their toes and fingers would fall off and jump back in to the car to warm up, freezing. Poor Harlow had to be stripped down and changed in to more "winter play" rather than "winter style" outerwear by the end of it. It was totally worth it though. Amazing day with amazing people adventuring in amazing places. I love my job.
